Why Would I Want A Custom Computer?

So let's start off with the reason "Why?" You're are probably wondering, "Banana01, Why the heck would I want to custom build a computer when I could go down to Wal-mart and pick up a nice Dell or an HP?" Well, the answer to that is, Price and quality.

With any major company that sells computers you are also paying for the brand, so to speak. You are paying extra just because you bought from those companies. You might also lose on quality, maybe that company picked the cheaper motherboard but it has half the life expectancy of the motherboard that only cost 12cents more.

If you customize your computer with certain websites you will get a price that you want for the parts you want and in the end you get the computer that is best for you.

Where Can You Customize A Computer?

Now that you're thinking "Heck yes! A custom computer sounds pretty dang sweet". We can get started on the places to get these so called "Custom computers"

1. My 1st and favorite place is ibuypower.com.

They are always offering different deals like rebates and percentages off of your purchase when you check out. I love the customization setup. You get to start your computer basically nothing, you pick a model you want and then you go down a list of parts and select what you want, they have pictures to help you discern what the part is if you don't know it by name, there is even a help button next to each section to help you figure out: What that dang piece is for, if you need it, and which one is better to suit your needs.

They offer top notch services like professional wiring or extended warrenties and the such just in case your dream computer needs a little extra care. I prefer this company becase it seems more user friendly to me.

2. My next pick is cyberpowerpc.com.

They are exactly the same as ibuypower in the sense of the deals they offer(they may be different deals) and the customization setup and the services they offer. They both have cheap parts that are high quality too. The only reason I don't prefer this company is because it seems less user friendly.

Both of these websites are geared towards "gaming computers" but they can be customized to fit most any user.
